Ann Maureen Sitton
February 8, 1951 - March 21, 2017
Ann Maureen Sitton, 66, of Medford, Oregon passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 after a lengthy illness with her loving husband and best friend, Danny Sitton, at her side. Ann was born February 8, 1951, in Harrow, England to William and Florence (Wells) Greeley, who preceded her in death.
Ann was a long-time resident of Medford where she lived after moving to Oregon from her childhood home in Lynn, Massachusetts. She worked at the VA Domiciliary in White City for 24 years before her retirement. Before her illness, Ann was very involved in working with the special-needs community of southern Oregon and volunteering for Special Olympics. She also had a great love of books, enjoyed antiquing, and traveling.
In addition to her husband, Danny, Ann is survived by her son, Jeremy (Kelly) Sitton of Las Vegas, Nevada; her daughter, Kathleen Sitton of Medford; her granddaughter, Emma Ann Sitton; her siblings, John (Nancy) Greeley of Reading, Mass., Eileen (William) Whiteley of Redmond, Maureen (Anthony) Gambale of Lynn, Mass. and Sheila (John) Telford of State College, Pennsylvania; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives, 550 Business Park Drive, Medford, Ore. A graveside Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
