Penny Ann (Ziegler) (Langager) Fahy

November 11, 1942 - April 25, 2017

Penny Ann Fahy, 74 of Phoenix, Oregon passed away peacefully April 25, 2017 at her home, surrounded by family after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She was born November 11, 1942 in Perham, Minnesota.

Penny married Marv Langager in 1961. They moved from Minnesota to Oregon in 1964 and settled in Phoenix, Ore. in 1972. Penny worked at the Jacksonville Inn for 20-plus years before retiring. Penny married Curtis Fahy in 1995 and became an instant mother to two adult daughters and a grandmother to five.

Penny enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, playing cards, and being the “best cook.” She was beloved by her family and will be remembered for her kind and graceful spirit, quick wit, and sly smile.

She is survived by six sisters, three brothers, two daughters, numerous nieces and nephews, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Penny was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Marv Langager and Curtis Fahy; three brothers; and one sister.
