Phillip served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his service he participated in the agricultural business for several years. Phillip was an avid hunter and sportsman. Inspired by his mother's and father's cooking skills he became manager/chef of a private hunting club where he was employed for over 20 years. He retired and lived with his brother, Natale Ra in Shady Cove, Oregon. He leaves behind a loving family who will miss him. His brother, Natale Ra arranged a military funeral with an honor guard to be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
