Scott Parke, 52, of Gresham, passed away unexpectedly August 31, 2017. He grew up in Central Point, and still considered the Rogue Valley his home. While formal education was not Scott's favorite thing, he graduated from Crater High School in 1983, and always followed Crater football and wrestling. He was a firm believer in the Crater Foundation.
He is survived by his son, Alex Parke (Cassi Rooney) of Medford; parents, Judy and Harvey Tonn of Central Point and Warren and Shirley Parke of Laughlin, Nevada; brother, Tony Parke of Portland; step-siblings, Mike Tonn, Lynne Tonn, Johanna Clark, and Michael Ambler; grandmother, Marcia Allen of Cottage Grove; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; best friend, Yvette Weeks; and best dog friend, Capone. He also had two very special grandsons, Dane and Nash, whom he had hoped to see grow up.
There will be a gathering of remembrance in Central Point at a later date. Contributions may be sent to the Crater Foundation, Scott Parke Memorial Scholarship, PO Box 5172, Central Point, OR 97502.
