Marlene, 85, passed away of natural causes in Albany. She was born Edith Marlene Morgan to Orville and Edith Morgan in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She had lived in a number of locations throughout her life. For the last 11 years, she lived near, or with, her daughter, Alta in Corvallis.
She is survived by her daughter, eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Her last surviving sibling, Mary Harris, of Elma, Washington, died September 22, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Albert; sisters, Evelyn and Alta; and brothers, Bud, Gail, Norman, Raymond, and Lone.
Delbert, 63, passed away September 5, 2017 in Albany at the Evergreen Hospice House. He battled stomach cancer for a year-and-a-half. He was born to Bert and Marlene Cooper in Medford.
Delbert is survived by his son, James Cooper, Vallejo, California; daughter, Jacquelyn DePriest, San Tan Valley, Arizona; sister, Alta Heiken, Corvallis; and best long-time friend Van Gruanhagen, Medford. He also leaves two grandchildren, six nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father (1989), his brother Albert (2006), and mother (2017).
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-5 p.m. October 14, 2017 at Abby's Pizza, 1080 S. Riverside, Medford. Family members and friends from long ago are invited. They will be deeply missed.
