Robert L. Fox

Robert L. Fox (Foxy), 99, passed away peacefully October 5, 2017 at Twin Creeks in Central Point, Oregon. He was born May 4, 1918 in Ontario, Ore.
Robert grew up in Boise, Idaho, graduated from high school and attended some college before joining the Army Air Corps, now known as the Air Force. He served as a bomber pilot in the Air Force during World War II. He retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1978.
Robert was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge and VFW. He was a 56-year member of the Elks and a member of Hillah Shrine.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Evelyn; his parents, Herbert and Jessie; his brother, Leonard; and sister, Irene. He will be forever remembered by his daughters, Janis (Larry) Crawford and Christie (Ron) Reischel; grandchildren, Denise (Darrell) Guthrie, Gary (Leetriane) Crawford, Mark (Melody Heller) Reischel, Diana (Tim) McPherson, great-grandchildren Lily Crawford, and Aiden and Avery McPherson; and his sweetheart for 3-1/2 years, Mary Meech.
A military graveside service in memory of Robert is scheduled for 2 p.m. November 13, 2017 at Eagle Point National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Providence Hospice in memory of Robert (Foxy) Fox, 2033 Commerce Drive, Medford, OR 97504.
