Cecille Marie Moore

September 9, 1946 - November 29, 2017

Cecille Marie Moore, 71, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Rogue Regional Medical Center. She was born September 9, 1946, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, to Bob and Helen (Roper) Longueville. She was a 1964 graduate of Medford Senior High School where she shared her love of music by playing the string bass in the orchestra. This may not seem of much consequence until you consider the string bass is nearly a foot-and-a-half taller than she was. This is a perfect example of the spirit with which she approached life. She continued playing the string bass while attending Southern Oregon College. She graduated from Merritt Davis Business College several years later. She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband, Timothy Moore. Cecille truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; staying in close touch with family, playing cards, knitting, and spending time with her many friends. She was a devoted volunteer at Renal Care Consultants and Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she also sang in the choir. She is survived by her daughters, Angela Charleboix and Charlotte Terry; sisters, Niki (Longueville) Jeffries and Betty (Roper) Phillips; her grandchildren; nephews and nieces; and cousins. A memorial will be held in the spring at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
