Laddie Anson Hancock

June 17, 1935 - February 16, 2018

Laddie Anson Hancock went home to be with his Lord February 16, 2018. He was born June 17, 1935 to Anson and Joan Hancock in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in California, then in Arizona, where he graduated from Phoenix Christian High School, Phoenix, Arizona, where he met his wife, Donna Neish.

Laddie spent most of his life in law enforcement, including a number of years with Naval Investigative Service (NIS) and as Chief of Police in Central Point, Oregon, from 1986-1996.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna Hancock; daughter, Gwyn Welford, Tampa, Florida; sons, Ken (Carla) Hancock, Junction City, Ore. and Kevin (Stacy) Hancock, Cottonwood, Calif; six granddaughters, April (Brian) Richey; Sherry (Ron) Krasuski; Jessica (Jeff) Peterson; Marci (Brandon) Hancock; Hailey Hancock; Whitney Hancock; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, John (Carolyn) Hancock, Medford, Oregon; his sister, Dawn Starr, Henderson, Nevada; and his brother-in-law, Dan Graves. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anson & Joan Hancock and his sister, Shirley Graves.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, March 17 at Community Bible Church, 500 N. 10th St., Central Point, OR.
