It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Soltz, 58, announces his passing February 22, 2018 following an unexpected medical episode. He passed peacefully while surrounded by his family.
A native of Los Angeles, Robert and his wife and daughter spent over three years traveling the United States in their motorhome, visiting all 48 contiguous states. After spending time in Medford, Oregon, they decided this was home. Robert was fortunate enough to be able to spend over 20 years in the Rogue Valley.
Robert was a phenomenal cook and volunteered his talents at many local organizations such as the Elks Lodge, Kids Unlimited, Table Rock Fellowship, and Access. Robert also had a love for flight and aviation which led him to serve in the Civil Air Patrol for many years, earning the rank of colonel. He was also a volunteer for CASA, helping children be heard with his loud voice that many knew and loved.
Among the many celebrating his life are his loving partner, Sharon; Patricia, the mother of his two children, Amber and Nathan; his parents, William and Sandra; his brother, Steve and sister-in-law, Joan; sister, Sheri and sister-in-law, Toni; and sister, Joanne.
