November 22, 1922 - March 8, 2018
Naomi Lee Lathrop, 95, passed away March 8, 2018 surrounded by family. Her only sibling, James (Jim) Love of Medford, passed away one day earlier.
Naomi was born November 22, 1922 in New Mexico to parents Tandy and Armour Love. Her childhood was spent on farmlands in Arizona. The family moved to Oregon March 2, 1937 and settled in the Rogue Valley where she raised her family. Naomi was baptized July 28, 1962 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was dearly loved by all in the congregation.
Naomi was known for her love of life, family, nature, and above all Jehovah God. At the end of the day, for Naomi, there was no place like home.
She is survived by her son, Clifford Lathrop; niece, Linda Ford; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Ernest and Clyde Lathrop; nephew, Gene Love; and brother, James (Jim) Love. The family extends their appreciation to years of caregivers that made a difference.
Memorial services will be held April 7, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2412 Williams Hwy., Grants Pass.
