Ida Lorraine (Real) Byron

Ida Lorraine (Real) Byron, 90, of Central Point, Oregon passed away February 19, 2018 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. She was born January 3, 1928 in Copco, California to Loren and Dortha Close. She attended Green Springs School and kept in touch with her classmates.
Lorraine married LeRoy Real in 1947 in Reno, Nevada. In 1979, she married Pat Byron in Ketchikan, Alaska.
Lorraine was a housekeeper and worked in a hardware store. She was a member of the Eagles in Washington and Central Point. She is truly missed and was deeply loved by family, friends, and Eagles club members. She left a legacy of gardening, bowling, sewing, and needlepoint, but most of all hugs. She loved making new friends and connecting with people.
She is survived by her sons, John C. Real and Robert R. Real; grandchildren, James Harrison, Minda Harrison, LeeAnn Martin, Loren Real, Jason Real, Aaron Real, James Martin, and Beth Real; great-grandchildren, Everett Real, Hannah Martin, Calvin Real, Jane Martin, Season Harrison, John Martin, Bethany Real, and Sean Loren Patrick Martin. She was preceded in death by both of her husbands; her daughter, Terry Lee (Real) Harrison; her sister, Grace (Close) Boat; and her brother, Melvin Close.
A graveside service was held March 3, 2018 at Mountain View Cemetery, officiated by James Martin.
