Shirley Claudette (Rolie) Wooton
April 2, 1936 - July 2, 2018
Shirley was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon to Eugene and Gertrude Rolie. She graduated from Ashland High School in 1955, and lived in Medford most of her life. She worked for US Bank and Viking Sewing Distributors while raising her children. She was well known for her kindness and willingness to help others in need, walking everywhere, and making many friends doing so. She was stubborn and would not accept rides even if offered. She was the kindest and most loving person you could meet unless you messed with her family!
Shirley is reunited with her grandchildren, Kyle Vogel and Christa Smith; and great-grandchild, Allison Arnold. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Vogel (Darold); son, David Branham (Laurie); granddaughters, Tiffany Arnold (Chris) and Ashlee Branham; grandsons, Casey Branham (Christina) and Carl Smith; four great-grandchildren; brother, Harlan Rolie; nephew, Tom Rolie; and nieces, Sue Sullivan and Linda Rolie.
In lieu of flowers, donations or acts of kindness in Shirley's (Mother Hubbard's) name are requested when you see someone in need of help, a word of kindness, or a few dollars.
A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. July 21, 2018 at the LDS Church, 747 Savage St., Grants Pass, OR 97526.
