Felony arrests

Warrants — Phillip Drew Erwin, 44, of the 3000 block of Palmyra Road, Medford. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday for a fugitive warrant from Idaho and a warrant from Klamath County and a failure to appear warrant for unlawful use of a weapon as well as a misdemeanor count for failure to appear for fourth-degree assault. Erwin was being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Encouraging child sexual abuse — Omar De Jesus Galvan, 19, of the 3400 block of Avenue C, White City. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Thursday on 10 counts of first degree encouraging child sexual abuse. He is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $250,000 bail.

Warrants-Drugs — Cord Michael Harrison, 32, of the 1400 block of Green Park Drive, Central Point. He was arrested by Central Point Police Thursday for failures to appear in the first-degree for two counts of unlawful delivery of heroin, two counts of unlawful manufacture of heroin, unlawful possession of heroin, unlawful possession of less than one ounce of methamphetamine, and a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to a peace officer. Harrison is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $43,000 bail.

Warrant — Steven Scott Hice, 57, of no reported address, Ashland. He was arrested by Ashland Police Friday on parole violation, felony stalking. Hice is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Warrant — Leslie Marie Singletary, 33, of no reported address, Medford. She was arrested by Medford Police Friday for a fugitive warrant from California and a misdemeanor charge of second degree criminal trespassing. Singletary is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Assault on an officer — Shannon Christine Towe, 24, of no reported address, Medford. She was arrested Friday for assault on a peace or public safety officer. Towe is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
