OSP wants to talk to three drivers who may have info in fatal Talent hit-and-run
Oregon State Police are seeking to reach three motorists who may have information into the Talent hit-and-run crash that that killed 44-year-old Geoffry Sterling of Ashland Sunday night.
Three vehicles of interest passed through the intersection of East Rapp Road and Highway 99 in Talent just before 9:46 p.m. Sunday, according to a release and surveillance video released Wednesday by Oregon State Police.
The surveillance video was captured about a quarter mile south of the crash at Highway 99 and West Valley Road, which was first reported to Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon dispatchers at 9:53 p.m., according to an earlier news report.
These are descriptions of the three vehicles in the area and the approximate times they were recorded on video in the East Rapp-Highway 99 intersection:
- A silver-light colored truck at 9:45:35 p.m.
- A white SUV at 9:45:40 p.m.
- A white sedan seen at 9:45:51 p.m.
The OSP would like to speak to the occupants of these three vehicles “as they may have information related to the crash,” according to the OSP’s release.
