Felony arrests

Warrant -- Clinton Tylor Anchor, 30, of the 1200 block of Woodrow Lane, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Saturday on a warrant issued by Douglas County and a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Anchor is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $1.05 million bail.

Probation violation -- Dean G. Calkins, 63, of the 3600 block of Avenue G, White City. He was arrested by Medford Police Saturday for failing to appear about a probation violation, driving while license is suspended or revoked and for these misdemeanors: second degree failing to appear for driving while license is suspended or revoked, theft of services and for a warrant issued by Josephine County. Calkins is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $13,000 bail.

Warrant -- Jodi Kay Grinder, 32, of no reported address, Medford. She was arrested Friday for a felony fugitive warrant issued in Minnesota. Grinder is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Parole violation -- Joshua Glen Hines, 45, of the 23000 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. He was arrested by Jackson County Saturday for a parole violation, felon in possession of a firearm, and misdemeanor charges for reckless driving, third degree escape and interfering with peace, parole or probation officer. Hines is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.

Probation violation -- Michael John Kane, 46, of the 2500 block of Brophy Road, Eagle Point. He was arrested by Medford Police Friday for a probation violation, first degree burglary, attempted first degree arson, unlawful use of a weapon, third degree assault and first degree criminal mischief. His misdemeanor charges include second degree criminal mischief, second degree arson, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and three counts of contempt of court for violating a stalking order. Kane is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $77,500.

Parole violation -- Jeffrey Lynn Kenton, 59, of the 300 block of Second Street, Talent. He was arrested Saturday for a parole violation, first degree arson. Kenton is being held in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
