I-5 reopens after crash
The Oregon Department of Transportation announced at 4:09 p.m. Friday that I-5 northbound lanes between Phoenix and south Medford had reopened after a two-vehicle crash blocked both lanes.
Drivers are advised to watch for road crews on the I-5 shoulder and to expect congestion until the vehicles are removed and a back-up of traffic clears.
Views from ODOT road cameras at 4:19 p.m. Friday showed semi trucks and passenger vehicles backed up in a long line on I-5, but moving forward.
