Felony arrests

Fugitive — James Ray Black, 46, of Mount Pleasant, Texas. He was arrested by Phoenix Police Wednesday for a fugitive warrant issued in Texas. Black is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.

Unauthorized vehicle use — Danielle Marie Denton, 37, of the 2900 block of Footscreek Road, Gold Hill. She was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for failure to appear for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police by vehicle and misdemeanors. Denton is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $20,000 bail.

Assault — Jeffrey William Elmore, 56, of the 20700 block of Highway 62, Shady Cove. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for second-degree assault, third-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanors. Elmore is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $100,000 bail.

Drugs — Michael Joseph Laybourne, 42, of the 300 block of Candice Drive, Eagle Point. He was arrested by Medford Police Wednesday for failing to appear for one count each of unlawful possession and delivery of methamphetamine. Laybourne was released on his own recognizance.

Drugs — Dusty Wade Mattheisen, 42, of the 5600 block of Adams Road, Talent. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for second-degree burglary, failure to appear on two counts of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, one count of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine, and a misdemeanor. Mattheisen was released on his own recognizance.

Burglary — Jacob Andrew Powers, 26, of no reported address, White City. He was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday for second-degree burglary, a misdemeanor and a parole violation. Powers is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.

Criminal mischief — Andrew Richard Ronda, 25, of the 1200 block of Covina Avenue, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Tuesday for first-degree criminal mischief. Ronda was released on his own recognizance.

Mail theft — Treasure Dawn Shockey, 33, of the 200 block of Manzanita Drive. She was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for mail theft and misdemeanors. Shockey was released on her own recognizance.

Mail theft — Cortney Brea Thayne, 45, of the 700 block of First Street, Springfield. She was arrested by Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for mail theft and misdemeanors. Shockey was released on her own recognizance.

Assault — Joey Boy Zach, 20, of the 100 block of North Columbus Avenue, Medford. He was arrested by Medford Police Wednesday for second-degree assault. Zach is being held in the Jackson County Jail for $117,500 bail.
