Digital Underwater Camera Mask
Rather than swimming with a digital camera encased in an underwater housing, you'll soon be able to wear your camera on your face when you go snorkeling.
A new dive mask scheduled to hit the market next month features a built-in digital camera. Made by Liquid Image, the Digital Underwater Camera Mask takes hands-free photos and video up to 15 feet underwater. The mask will come with either a 5 megapixel or 3.1 megapixel camera. Cross hairs on the goggles allow you to line up your shots, with a shutter button on top of the mask. The mask contains an array of LED lights which theoretically eliminate the need for additional illumination. Photos are downloaded via USB cable from its internal 16MB memory, plus there's an SD card slot. The mask comes with USB Cable, User Manual, and ArcSoft Photo and Video Impression Software. Price is expected to be in the neighborhood of $100.
