Sean Hayes at CultureWorks
Singer and songwriter Sean Hayes will perform folk numbers from his new album "Run Wolves Run" at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at CultureWorks, 310 Oak St., Ashland. Born in New York City and raised in North Carolina, Hayes joined the San Francisco music scene in the early '90s. "Run Wolves Run," was released in March and showcases Hayes' raw, gritty and emotional vocals as well as Andrew Borger's drumming and Devin Hoff's bass chops. Hayes' song, "3 a.m." is featured on the TV show "Kyle XY," and his song "A Thousand Tiny Pieces," performed by the Canadian folk band The Be Good Tanyas, was featured on the TV show "Brothers & Sisters."
