Brews, Burgers & Bluegrass at EdenVale
The second annual Brews, Burgers & Bluegrass includes five bands, five different burgers and 22 microbrews from around the Rogue Valley. The event is from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Eden Valley Orchards, 2310 Voorhies Road, Medford.
"There's no better way to kick off Medford Beer Week," says Chris Dennett, Medford Beer Week co-organizer, in a press release. Beer week runs from June 6-14.
"We'll bring together the best of the Rogue Valley's craft brewers and artisan meats in a 'down on the farm' celebration of our local flavor," adds Wendy Siporen, THRIVE executive director, in a press release.
Look for live music by Eight Dollar Mountain, Siskiyou Summit, Turner Moore Band, Bear Creek Band and Rainy & the Rattlesnakes on Saturday, along with drafts from 10 breweries and burgers from five ranches.
Look brews from Bricktowne, Standing Stone, Walkabout, Southern Oregon Brewing, Portal Brewing, Rusty Bucket, Fire Cirkl Meadery, JD Sports Bar and Opposition.
Burger choices from local ranches include beef burgers from Plaisance Ranch and Salant Family Ranch, bison burgers from Full Circle Bison, lamb burgers from Umpqua Valley Lamb and goat burgers from Willow-Witt Ranch.
Tickets cost $12 in advance and can be purchased at Grains, Beans & Things or EdenVale Winery in Medford, The Twisted Cork in Grants Pass, Paddington Station in Ashland, Stim Coffee in Jacksonville, The Butcher Shop in Eagle Point or online at www.buylocalrogue.org. Tickets will cost $15 at the door. Tickets include a commemorative pint glass and five tasting tickets. Music-only tickets cost $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Kids 15 and younger get in free.
