Ethan Tucker Band at the Brickroom
The Ethan Tucker Band will play a mix of eclectic, soulful electric and acoustic music — similar to Michael Franti, Ryan Montbleau and G. Love — at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at the Brickroom, 35 N. Main St., Ashland.
Local funkmeister Frankie Hernandez, with bassist Jacob Ackerman and drummer Eric Maynard, will open the show with a set of soul and funk-infused rock and reggae.
Tucker, a singer and songwriter born in Washington state, released a solo acoustic recording, “Lost Between,” in 2010. His soon to be released new album will include tracks produced by Franti, including a favorite, “Cool Kids.”
Tickets cost $8 in advance and can be purchased at Brickroom, Music Coop at 268 E. Main St., or at www.brownpapertickets.com. Tickets will cost $12 at the door.
