Phoenix's Heath, Nelson earn first-team all-district

Phoenix High junior Kayla Heath and senior Courtney Nelson each earned first-team all-District 4 girls swimming honors recently.

Heath broke her own school record with a winning time of 1:05.15 in the 100 backstroke, while Nelson set a new standard in the 200 free in 2:03.85.

On the boys side, seniors Yuki Suetsugu and Peter Williams were named to the second team.

District 4 All-Conference
