Balanced EP pulls away from Crater in second half
EAGLE POINT — Eagle Point used a balanced attack and held Crater to just four field goals in the second half en route to a 60-44 victory in nonconference boys basketball Tuesday at the Eagle gym.

Eagle Point held a 32-29 halftime lead.
"Our kids tightened up our 'D' and pressured the ball better in the second half," said Eagle Point first-year coach Bryan Wood. "We definitely had the edge on the boards, especially in the second half. We executed pretty well down the stretch and made our free throws late."

"We were in foul trouble for much of the night and our bench played well," said Wood. "That was a difference for us."
