Schaan propels Challengers to road win

LAKEVIEW — Quarterback Haiden Schaan continued his dazzling freshman season Friday, putting the Cascade Christian football team out in front early before turning things over to running back Zack Fralich to chew away the clock.

Schaan found Jake Booker in the end zone three times — the first two were from 44 and 30 yards to give the Challengers a 14-0 lead in the opening quarter.

After Schaan hit Carson Cochran for a 61-yard score, the freshman linked up with Booker again from 55 yards out for his fourth TD pass of the half.

Fralich had 15 carries for 91 yards and scored three of the Challengers’ final four touchdowns.
