CORVALLIS — The Ashland boys and girls water polo teams won state qualifying matches against their Bend counterparts Thursday to earn berths in the state tournament next week.

The Grizzly boys rallied from a 3-2 halftime deficit and triumphed, 9-8, while the girls rolled to a 20-7 victory. Both games were at Osborn Aquatic Center, where state will be held next Friday and Saturday.
