Rogue River's McKown on all-star team

Rogue River placed one player on the first team and Butte Falls had a second-teamer in recent all-league voting by the Southern Cascade League volleyball coaches.

Rogue River outside hitter Maddie McKown, a 5-foot-10 senior, was selected for the first team.

Butte Falls senior middle blocker Ellie Columbus earned a spot on the second team.

League champion Bonanza swept the voting for individual honors. Nevaeh Nelson was player of the year, Madalyn Cory was defensive player of the year and Donna Romtvedt was coach of the year.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Madalyn Cory, Bonanza.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Donna Romtvedt, Bonanza.
