Four Cascade Christian athletes — including three volleyball players — signed college letters of intent during a ceremony at the school Wednesday.

Volleyball players Taylor Cave (Geroge Fox University), Ania Farmer (Southern Oregon University) and Maddi Strain (Rogue Community College) inked their papers, as did boys soccer player Jonny McCoy (Rogue Community College).

Cave, a setter, had 359 assists and 20 aces as the Challengers went 15-1, their only loss coming in the Class 3A finals.

Farmer, a middle hitter, had 121 kills, 49 blocks and 32 aces. Strain, a libero, notched 119 digs and 15 aces.

McCoy, a forward/midfielder, helped Cascade Christian to an 8-2 record. They lost in the 3A culminating week tournament quarterfinals.

McCoy finished his career with 71 goals and 50 assists. He was twice voted Special District 5 player of the year and twice earned all-state honors at the 3A/2A1A level.
