South dominates North in SWC boys tennis

South Medford’s boys tennis team was about as dominant as a team could get Thursday afternoon, with the Panthers not giving up a single game in four singles matches to put North Medford on its heels in an 8-0 Southwest Conference victory.

The Black Tornado managed to claim only four games overall against host South Medford, all coming in a trio of doubles matches.

Stephen Wisnovsky, Andrean Gurov, Josue Maidana and Antonio Perez-Cansino were in complete control in each churning out 6-0, 6-0 victories during Thursday’s singles matches.

Sam Sykes and Elijah Spencer also provided a steady complement with a 6-1, 6-0 win over North Medford’s top doubles team of Brian Bilauca and Robert Doshier.
