Sounders stop Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Mauro Rosales and Lamar Neagle scored less than two minutes apart at the close of the second half, giving Seattle Sounders a 2-1 win Saturday night and snapping Sporting Kansas City's 14-match unbeaten streak.
Kansas City (7-7-9) lost for the first time since May 21 — ending a 6-0-8 stretch.
Rosales tied the game at 1 in the 90th minute for Seattle (11-5-8), and Neagle's game-winner in the second minute of stoppage time came on a loose-ball scramble in the area.
Dynamo 1, Union 1
At Chester, Pa., Geoff Cameron's goal in the 85th minute gave Houston a draw with Philadelphia.
Jack McInerney's first goal of the season for the Union (8-5-9) in the 15th minute held up until that point. McInerney scored on a give-and-go from Sebastien Le Toux, who had his team-leading eighth assist.
Toronto FC 3, D.C. United 3
At Washington, Dwayne De Rosario capped his hat trick by converting a game-tying penalty kick in the 88th minute to help D.C. United salvaged a draw.
Real Salt Lake 3, Red Bulls 0
Sandy, Utah, Nat Borchers and Luis Gil each scored in the first half as Real Salt Lake ended a 200-minute scoring drought.
Alvaro Saborio scored on a penalty kick in the 77th minute and Kyle Beckerman had two assists for Salt Lake (10-5-6).
Chivas USA 3, Revolution 2
Foxborough, Mass., Alejandro Moreno scored two goals and Chivas USA extended its unbeaten streak over New England to five matches.
Moreno scored his fourth goal of the season for Chivas (7-8-8) in the 31st minute, finishing off a cross from Nick LaBrocca, then tallied again in the 80th.
Galaxy 3, FC Dallas 1
At Carson, Calif., Juninho scored the go-ahead goal in the 62nd minute and David Beckham had three assists to lead Los Angeles.
Omar Gonzalez and Mike Magee scored on headers for the Galaxy (13-3-9), who moved six points ahead of last year's MLS Cup runner-ups in the Western Conference.
Beckham has a league-leading 11 assists this season.
