Source: E.J. Singler signs with Raptors

Former South Medford High and University of Oregon standout E.J. Singler has agreed to terms on a non-guaranteed deal with the Toronto Raptors, according to Blake Murphy of Raptors Republic.

The contract would allow Singler to compete for the final spot on Toronto’s roster at training camp.

After wrapping up a successful four-year career at Oregon, Singler has played overseas and in the NBA D-League. He finished this past season with the Raptors’ D-League affiliate, averaging 14.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 10 games.

Singler averaged 6.4 points, two rebounds, 1.4 assists and one steal during five summer league games for Toronto in July.

Kyle Singler, E.J.’s brother, plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
