Sunday comics not available online
I've always enjoyed the Sunday paper and especially the comics (back to my youth). Why does the mobile version of the Sunday paper not have the comics section?
— Doug L., Medford
A lot has happened with both the digital and print versions of the newspaper over the years, Doug. The Sunday comics are printed elsewhere and sent to us for insertion into the Sunday paper, with no digital version to put on the web. (Another reason to get the print version, we wonder?)
That doesn't make a lot of sense to us here at Since You Asked headquarters, Doug, because everything seems to be digital nowadays. Maybe one of these days we'll get the Sunday comics on our website, and everything will be right with the world again.
Even though you can't access the Sunday comics online, you can view comics the other six days of the week through the e-edition available on the website. On the mobile version, the e-edition link is located on the pull-down tab at the top-left of the home screen. On the web version, the e-edition link is in the black menu bar at the top of the homepage.
