Pac Trend project is 64 townhouses, condos
My husband and I noticed the other day new construction on North Phoenix Road in the vicinity of Centennial Golf Club. It looks like apartments or condos. Might you know what's going on there? We're looking at a possible move in the next year or so.

What you are watching rise along North Phoenix Road are a combination of townhouses and condominiums being built by Pacific Trend Building and Developing.
The project will be known as Miners Point, owned by a family foundation with local ties, and it will have 20 townhouses and 44 condos.
The first units should be available in about six months, but rental pricing hasn't been determined.
The difference between a townhouse and condominium is that the land beneath the townhouses belongs to the house owner, while only the space in the apartment belongs to the condominium owner.
Dan Mahar Sr., president of Pac Trend, said the townhouses are upper-end quality. They will be rented or leased to begin with, but may eventually be sold.
