Andrew Del Carlo, University of Oregon senior
Del Carlo, who graduated from Ashland High in 2005, recently competed in the Men's Club National Championships in Athens, Ohio, and helped the Ducks finish sixth in the nation.
Del Carlo, who played baseball as well as water polo at AHS, was a first-team all-Northwest selection.
Oregon won the Northwest Conference championship with a 7-1 league record.
Nate Jessup, University of Oregon senior
Jessup also helped the Oregon club water polo team fare well at the national championships recently. He was a first-team all-Northwest selection for the Ducks.
Corey Costantino, Willamette University senior forward
Costantino scored 18 points, pulled down three rebounds and dished out three assists to lead the Bearcats to a 67-53 win over Pacific Lutheran Friday at Salem.
Costantino, a former all-conference soccer and basketball player at AHS, hit 7-of-9 field goals and 4-of-5 free throws to help the Bearcats improve to 9-8 overall and 5-5 in the Northwest Conference.
Costantino also had 13 points, five assists and three rebounds in Willamette's 84-78 loss to Linfield on Tuesday.
Willamette hits the road this weekend for games against Whitworth (Friday) and Whitman (Saturday).
Josh McDermott, Southern Oregon senior forward
McDermott scored a team-high 15 points and had two rebounds for the Raiders in their 84-49 loss to Eastern Oregon on Saturday.
The 2005 AHS grad hit 6-of-12 shots and 2-of-2 free throws while also blocking three shots for the Raiders, who fell to 7-16 overall and 5-9 in the Cascade Conference.
McDermott also had six points and four rebounds Friday against College of Idaho, which beat SOU 85-71.
The Raiders, who have six games remaining on their regular season schedule, return home this weekend for Cascade Conference games against Cascade College (Friday) and Warner Pacific (Saturday).
Alysse Carlson, Seattle University senior guard
Carlson pulled down three rebounds in eight minutes of action to help Seattle pull out a 63-57 win over SIU-Edwardsville on Saturday at Edwardsville, Ill.
Carlson was a four-time all-conference selection at Ashland High.
Jamie Roupp, Portland State sophomore guard
Roupp had two points and three rebounds in five minutes in the Vikings' 94-90 overtime loss to Montana State on Saturday.
The narrow defeat dropped Portland State to 14-7, 7-1 in the Big Sky.
