Four Raiders, coach take CCC honors
Four Southern Oregon University volleyball players and coach Josh Rohlfing were given Cascade Conference honors.
Rohlfing was named Cascade Conference co-coach of the year along with College of Idaho's Liz Mendiola.
Leah Bergstrom, Heather Porter and Leanne Stennett earned All-Cascade Conference honors. Junior Chelsea Hartman was named newcomer of the year and earned honorable mention all-conference.
Rohlfing helped lead the Raiders to a 24-3 overall record and a 17-1 conference record, as the Raiders shared the regular-season conference crown with College of Idaho.
Bergstrom emerged as SOU's most consistent player, finishing fourth in the conference in attack percentage (.292), seventh in kills (2.83 per set) and eighth in total blocks (71).
Porter led the Cascade Conference in attack percentage (.353) and finished third in the conference in total blocks with 106.
Stennett was a star for the Raiders on both offense and defense. The junior averaged 1.96 kills per set and also 2.51 digs per set.
Hartman, a transfer from Linn-Benton Community College, finished fourth in the conference in kills at 2.99 per set and fifth in attack percentage at .277.
