The Bad Film Society premiers 'The Catskill Chainsaw Redemption'

The entire population of Southern — Oregon is invited but due to fire restrictions only the first 299 people — will be allowed to through the doors.

Please bring a tasty dish for a nummy-num pot luck dinner. — It's delish.

The main feature will be the Oregon premier of "The Catskill — Chainsaw Redemption." The Bad Film Society has obtained the film directly — from the filmmakers J.R. Havlan and Matt Unger. Havlan is a writer for — "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and the bestseller, "America (the book)." —

The film is the story of a chainsaw-wielding maniac who — goes on an unexpected odyssey of self-discovery. After a lifetime of cutting — people open, can he finally learn what they're really like inside? The — Killer is played by Kevin VanHentenryck, the star of the cult film "Basket — Case." Although it is unimaginable that this film will ever to be commercially — released, it has been hailed at several film festivals around the world. — This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Other special treats include the best part of "Just Imagine," — a loony 1930 film about going to Mars in 1980 and "Duck and Cover" where — Bert the Turtle teaches kids what to do if the atomic bomb is dropped. —

Also up is the electrifying final chapter of the 1936 — serial, "Undersea Kingdom" starring Crash Corrigan and Lon Chaney, Jr. — featuring robots, spiked tanks and ray guns in the Lost City of Atlantis. — A spectacular climax!
