This summer the Siskiyou

Woodcraft Guild Summer Show returns to the Great Hall, the site of its annual

fall show so popular with residents and visitors for over 25 years.

More than a dozen members of the guild will exhibit work in many areas of the craft, from elegant and imaginative fine furniture, beautiful wood-turned sculptures and vases to musical instruments and decorative wall objects. This is an opportunity for homeowners, collectors and architects to view, purchase or custom-order fine furniture and woodworking.

Throughout the weekend, there will be live music by top local jazz musicians including Ed Dunsavage on guitar and Jim Calhoun on acoustic bass Friday night from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Tom Reddick Saturday from noon to 1:30 p.m., Joe Thompson Saturday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday a special appearance by Bil Lionhart from noon to — p.m.

The show will be open Friday from — to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Great Hall, 70 East Main St. Admission is free.
