The Siskiyou Singers will perform at Southern Oregon University&
s Music Recital Hall on Friday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. The Siskiyou Singers Christmas Concert will be on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Dave Marston is the Artistic Director of the chorus. He characterizes &

most unbridled expression of joy and wonder.&
The major soloists are soprano Marian Horton, tenor Roger Graves, and baritone Michael Flaherty as the three angels Gabriel, Uriel and Raphael. Horton has appeared in various roles with the Rogue Opera, Rogue Music Theatre, and Connect the Dots Theatre. Graves has soloed with the Rogue Valley Chorale, Southern Oregon Repertory Singers, and the Britt Orchestra. Flaherty has performed with the Rogue Opera, the Portland Opera and Eugene Opera over the past eight years, and was Resident Artist with the Portland Opera from 1998 to 2000.
Soprano Suzanne Barnes and bass Ian Wessler, members of the Siskiyou Singers and previous soloists with the chorus, take the roles of Adam and Eve. Their duets express the joy of living and praise the beauties of nature.
Pianist Galina Kistanova will accompany both concerts. She began her studies at the Special Music School for Gifted Children in Kazakhastan, and later was invited to teach at the Highest Music College for Gifted Children there. She has performed across the former USSR and abroad, and now teaches in the Rogue Valley.
