The art of Guy Pederson and John Buck

Hanson Howard Gallery near the Plaza is showing new works from Guy Pederson who has returned to his studio after an eight-year hiatus. Pederson's real passion lies in the privacy of his studio where he can experiment with various media and explore new ideas.

His past work includes a mastery of watercolor painting, printmaking, encaustic and photography, all executed with his own unique sense of composition. This exhibition in a sense "takes up where he left off" with a combination of figurative monotypes and energetically drawn pastel figures. Pederson's juxtaposition of figures, chairs, and background offer an abstraction in vivid colors.

Hanson Howard Gallery, located at 82 N. Main Street, is an expressive art space with contemporary flair. Call (541) 488-2562 or visit .
