Honoring Nature and Spirit

Honoring nature and spirit, two passionate artists will blend live music, readings and photography into an evening of shared grace at the Hidden Springs Wellness Center, on Friday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Internationally acclaimed recording artist Gentle Thunder has been sharing her heart and opening the hearts of others through her music for over twenty-five years. Her third release, Beyond Words, has been nominated for Best Contemporary Instrumental album at the Indian Summer Music Awards.

Woven into the depth of the experience will be meditations, readings and photography by Eric Alan, drawing from his book, "Wild Grace: Nature as a Spiritual Path" (White Cloud Press) &

a beautiful celebration of the natural world, and a meditation upon living mindfully within it &

and from new material centered on finding peace within the small details of the world. (Alan is also known for his work at Jefferson Public Radio, where he is music director and the morning Open Air DJ every weekday.)

In keeping with the spirit of service both artists bring to their work, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Southern Oregon Land Conservancy. Tickets are $10 to $20 on a sliding scale, at the door of Hidden Springs Wellness Center &
