OSF actor to speak
Oregon Shakespeare Festival actor Danforth Comins will give a free talk on Saturday, March 10 at Noon in Carpenter Hall. Admission is free. Comins is featured as Orlando in the production of Shakespeare's "As You Like It" currently running in the Angus Bowmer Theatre, and will appear later this season as Lucentio in "The Taming of the Shrew."
Comins is in his fifth season at OSF, having played Bo in Bus Stop and Lewis the Dauphin in "King John" last season. Other OSF roles include Benvolio in "Romeo and Juliet," Richmond and Second Murderer in "Richard III," and Timothy Hogarth in "Room Service." He has worked at the Utah Shakespearean Festival, Tacoma Actors Guild, PCPA Theatrefest and Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival, among others. He is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Illinois.
