Equinox at Wellsprings

People are invited to celebrate the Spring Equinox and Women's History Month with Windsong and Kat del Rio on Friday, March 23 at the Jackson Wellsprings' new Dojo Room.

Friday evening will include sharing original songs and a variety of songs they have gathered over recent years that are beautiful to sing as a group. There will be a handout with words to the choruses provided so people can sing along with confidence.

Special guest Agnes Baker Pilgrim, Native American Takelma Elder, is a world-renowned spiritual leader, and will be sharing about her work with the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers. She will tell of their recent meeting with the Dali Lama, and also will be sharing the new book: "Grandmothers Council the World."

Windsong and Kat del Rio's music performances are always expressive, and passionately full of positive vibration, rich vocals, and beautiful harmonies.

All are welcome. The evening begins at 8 p.m. Friday, in the New Dojo Room at Jackson Wellsprings, 2253 Hwy. 99 N., and the cost will be $10 for adults, $5 for 18 and under. CDs and Books will be on sale, cash or local checks will be accepted. Call 488-3569.
