Laugh it up!
Two top-notch comedians return to Medford this weekend to perform at Chadwick's Pub. Todd Yohn and Morgan Preston will bring non-stop laughter to stand-up shows scheduled for 7 and 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 16-17, at the sports pub in the Rogue Regency Inn, 2300 Biddle Road.
Yohn is a master of physical comedy and characterization and is a favorite on the nationally syndicated "The Bob and Tom Show." A former musician, Yohn's routines also include novelty songs.
Yohn made the career move from guitar player to a comedian when he realized the pay was better. Really. His musical style ranges through blues, jazz and country, and then he adds inane lyrics. He has three CDs to his credit: "Red on the Head," "The Orange Barrels" and "The White Album," along with a DVD also titled "The White Album."
Yohn has appeared on HBO's "Full Frontal Comedy," Showtime's "Comedy Club Network" and "Comedy Club All-Stars" and on "Short Attention Span Theater" when it was first aired on VH1.
Preston specializes in "alternative" comedy. He likes to say whatever is on his mind. He headlines at clubs in Las Vegas, Seattle and Los Angeles. See morganpreston.com online.
Tickets to the shows at Chadwick's Pub cost $10 in advance and $12 the day of the shows. Tickets are available only at Chadwick's.
