Mark Pitta

In 1997, comedian Mark Pitta performed his first comedy hat trick. He made a woman in the audience laugh so hard she cried, wet her pants and squirted her drink from her nose.

The San Francisco-based comic will perform at 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Aug. 6-7, at Chadwick's Pub in the Rogue Regency Inn, 2300 Biddle Road, Medford.

Pitta joined the comedy scene in the 1980s, appearing on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson, as well as with Jay Leno. He hosted "Totally Hidden Video" for two years on Fox television and has opened for celebrities such as Chris Isaak, Celine Dion, Paul Anka, Olivia Newton John, Smokey Robinson and Kenny Rogers.

His shows promises at least a few good laughs and maybe even another hat trick.

Comedian Jamey Stone will open for Pitta. Before he became a comedian, Stone was just a funny chef, salesman and corporate training manager. Stone’s performance will poke fun at the bizarre characters in our lives and society’s definition of mental health.

The cover charge for the shows is $8. Call 541-282-2122.
