Local singer and songwriter Jeff Kloetzel manages a diverse catalog of music, ranging from pop and rock to laid-back folk and contemporary, island sounds.
Kloetzel, a guitarist, performs both solo and with the Ashland funk-rock band The Lincoln Project. Before moving to the Rogue Valley two years ago, Kloetzel lived in Hawaii, where he performed alongside such artists as ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro, as well as John Cruz, Johnny Helm and Bruce Shimabukuro. His music has taken him all over the United States and to Japan, opening shows for Jackson Browne, Gregg Allman, Jack Johnson and Aimee Mann.
Kloetzel will perform solo at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at the Playwright Public House, 258 A St., Ashland, and at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at Downtowne Coffee House, 200 Talent Ave., Talent.
