CAMELOT THEATRE COMPANY: In the James Morrison Collier Theatre Building, 101 Talent Ave., Talent. The box office is open from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and one hour before performances. the scarlet pimpernel: The romantic, swashbuckling musical about the French Revolution, with book and lyrics by Nan Knighton and music by Frank Wildhorn, runs through Dec. 31. Funny and passionate, the story begins when a French actress falls for an English lord and her former lover blackmails her for secret information. When her new husband hears of the plot, he and his compatriots form The League of the Scarlet Pimpernel and wage clandestine war against the French. The cast includes Tim Homsley, Kelly Jean Hammond and Darek Riley, among others. Livia Genise directs. Performances are set for 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets cost $23, $21 for students and seniors. A Christmas Eve matinee will be presented at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 24.

EXIT 48: The dinner theater troupe will present an original holiday murder mystery, "The Cookie Crumbles," Saturdays, Dec. 10 and 17, at The Station Restaurant, 595 Main St., Rogue River. Dinner service will begin at 6 p.m. Guests are invited to play minor roles in the drama, set in Santa's workshop. Tickets cost $34 and include a full-course meal. NAUGHTY OR NICE?: Oregon Cabaret Theatre will present late-night entertainment through December. Hear sweet and sassy mixes of pop, rock, R&B and jazz by such house favorites as Christopher George Patterson, Shaeny Johnson, Kymberli Colbourne, Natasha Harris and Paul Wrona, along with local performers Veronica DeWitt, Alonzo Moore, Mark Barsekian, Anjali Altman and jazz combo Tom Freeman, Paul Jenny, Carl Iverson and Jay Jorgensen. It plays at 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Dec. 8-9; Thursday, Dec. 15; Thursday and Friday, Dec. 22-23; and 9:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19. Tickets cost $15, $5 for students. A bistro menu and beverages will be available.

it's a jolly holiday: Robin Downward and his company of local performers will present traditional holiday tunes, a humorous reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and a one-act version of Charles Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol" starting at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16; 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17; 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18; 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 21-22; and 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23. In the spirit of the holiday, admission to all shows will be pay-what-you-want.
