Red Molly at the Unitarian Fellowship
Folk trio Red Molly brings Americana-style roots music and harmonies to the stage with Laurie MacAlllister on guitar, banjo and bass, Abbie Gardner on Dobro and guitar and singer, songwriter and guitarist Molly Venter. The trio’s newest album, “Light in the Sky,” was released in 2011. Look for an inventive arrangement of Robert Johnson’s “Come in My Kitchen,” along with original songs and covers by songwriters Gillian Welch, David Rawlings, Mark Erelli and others. Acoustic folk duo Anne and Pete Sibley will open the show.
The show is set for 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Unitarian Fellowship, 87 Fourth St., Ashland. Tickets cost $18 in advance and can be purchased at Music Coop or online at www.gaiaconcerts.com. Tickets will cost $20 at the door.
