Dead Sea Pedestrians at Habaneros

The Dead Sea Pedestrians — with front man and rhythm guitarist Dan Wood, lead guitarist Ben Jennings, bassist Griffin Colegrove and drummer “Lefty” Dave Hodgkins — are back in their game.

After a hiatus of nearly two years used to focus on families, homes and professions, the bandmates have reunited for some shows in local clubs.

The rock 'n' roll band will perform Friday and Saturday, Feb. 28 and March 1, at Habaneros Mexican Restaurant, 142 N. Front St., Medford. Cover is free.

While the Rogue Valley band covers many hit songs by Tom Petty, Eddie Vedders and other during its club shows, the group has created a repertoire of original music that it would like to perform at professional venues such as Britt.

“We'd like to evolve from a bar band into something more professional, more grown up, more responsible,” Wood says. “We still have the same passion and drive for music,” he says. “We would just like to play in more quality venues.”
