Butcher at Lounge South
Jam band Butcher — drummer Greg Alford, bassist Larry Coble, guitarist Matt “Lambone” Lambert and singer and multi-instrumentalist Josh Sadler — play psychedlic jams that draw from ’60s classic rock.
The group’s original music is directly inflluenced by Phish, The Grateful Dead, The Muppets and others.
The band’s live performances are characterized by extended jam sessions — a practice that keeps each show’s music improvisational and innovative. The cover costs $5.
Butcher will play at 12:15 a.m. Friday, May 9, at Lounge South, 66 N. Pioneer St., Ashland. The show is part of an after-party for the Chris Robinson Brotherhood concert at the Historic Ashland Armory.
