Ashland's First Friday Art Walk

Each March, the Ashland Gallery Association celebrates art by students from Ashland High School. Look for work by young artists from AHS' Fine Arts Department, alongside regional and national artists, at Adelante! Gallery, Art & Soul Gallery, Ashland Art Works, Creekside Pizza, Enoteca Wine Bar, Nimbus, Oak Leaf Studios, Push Gallery, Studio AB and in the student gallery of the Marion Ady Building on the Southern Oregon University campus.

Hanson Howard will showcase paintings by Peter Van Fleet and found-object sculpture by David Masters; Jega Gallery & Sculpture Garden will present its 21st annual "Women With Attitude and Men Who Love Women With Attitude" exhibit celebrating Women's History Month; and Houston's Custom Framing will showcase outdoor photography by Sean Bagshaw. Bagshaw's photographs grace the covers of such publications at Northwest Magazine and Outdoor Photographer Magazine.

Receptions for the artists will be from 5 to 8 p.m. March 6, at galleries and other venues. Pick up a Gallery Tour Map at any of the listed galleries, the Ashland Chamber of Commerce or download one from www.ashlandgalleries.com.
