Chipper Lowell, 'Pippin' this week at the Craterian
As a marquee event for Medford Beer Week, comic and magician Chipper Lowell will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford.
The Los Angeles Times calls Lowell "hilarious ... a crowd pleaser," and Magic Magazine listed him among its "Top Funniest Magicians Performing Today."
Lowell has appeared many times on NBC's "The Tonight Show," ABC's "America's Funniest People," "Don't Blink" on PopTV! and four season's of The CW Television Network's "Masters of Illusion."
It's a nonstop roller-coaster of onstage antics suitable for ages 9 and older.
Patrons 21 and older will receive a commemorative pint glass and beer tastings from Pelican Brewing Company, Walkabout Brewing, Mill City Brew Werks, Mazama Brewing Company and Ninkasi Brewing before the show and during intermission.

"Pippin," a touring production of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival, is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at the Craterian Theater.
